Law firm seeks full-time, experienced receptionist. Experience in a law office setting preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities / Duties:
Greet clients, visitors, and vendors, notifying appropriate party of their arrival.
Answer and route incoming calls on a multi-line telephone system and take detailed messages as needed.
Enter data into the computer, in both English and Spanish.
Perform clerical duties such as filing, copying, faxing, emailing, etc.
Ensure neatness of lobby and conference room areas.
Monitor reception area so that non-employees are not permitted into office without being identified.
Provide interpreting and translating services (both verbal conversation and reading and translating written documents) for Spanish-speaking clients
Must be able to open office M-F at 8:30 am and stay until close at 5:30 pm.
Bilingual in both English and Spanish – must be able to read, write and speak fluently
Ability to pay attention to detail, follow procedures and work effectively with others.
Due to constant client contact, must be customer-service oriented and present a professional image.
Ability to handle confidential client information.
Strong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Must be on time to work, dependable and reliable
