The Market Business Leader (MBL) is responsible for ensuring the proper leadership and management oversight for sales, operations and reimbursement functions for a branch location within an assigned geographic region to meet all company financial, clinical, operational and sales goals. The MBL will work in close partnership with other department heads and contribute to market, regional and corporate business initiatives.

•Select, train, develop and motivate Pharmacy and Nurse Managers and other select management staff to meet and exceed branch operational and financial goals.
•Leads the development of branch budgets and financial objectives. Monitors progress to budget plan and takes corrective action as necessary. Provides education and guidance to Managers in the proper procedures for monitoring budget performance and in taking corrective actions.
•Promote the overall success of the market as part of the leadership team.
•Establishes and coordinates the implementation of branch sales strategies consistent with company objectives
•Supports the managed care, sales and clinical liaison teams, participating in client sales calls and payor-contracting support functions as appropriate.
•Keeps abreast of all local activity including competition, market trends and marketing programs that affect company objectives. Provides reports to Senior Vice President, Sales & Operations and other levels of management as appropriate.
•Maintains effective communication and positive employee relations environment.
•Develops, recommends and implements new avenues for market growth and innovation in service delivery.
•Ensures adherence by all team members to company strategic objectives, policies, and procedures, standards of conduct and state and federal regulations. Encourages the use of Corporate personnel as resources when appropriate.
•Attends mandatory annual in-services that are required by position.
•Reports to the appropriate manager(s)/corporate compliance officer(s) any known or suspected violations of policies and procedures, regulations or standards of conduct.
•Performs other duties as assigned.
