We are seeking a part-­time, full-charge bookkeeper to join our enthusiastic team to provide accounting and office management support for 16-­20 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

Ability to understand and perform accounting data entry based on GAAP and FASB policies.

Ability to perform and record job costing overhead allocation.

Ability to perform full-cycle payroll to include tax deposits in QuickBooks.

Prepare a preliminary trial balance and analyze balance accounts.

Prepare accrual items and correct errors in the preliminary trial balance with adjusting entries.

Conduct monthly bank and credit card reconciliation..

Process accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Analyze and prepare financial statements.

General clerical duties such as organizing staff travel, greeting visitors in person or on the phone, and responding to inquiries, as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum 2-­‐3 years’ experience as a full-­‐charge bookkeeper.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Confidence to interact with peers, multiple clients, and visitors.

Well organized, detail oriented, self-­‐motivated, and possess excellent follow-­‐through skills.

Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel and Word is a must..

Excellent communication and problem solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
