A top 40 CPA firm seeks a proven business developer from the professional services sector to join its team. This individual will be expected to identify and drive opportunities to the Firm through its highly focused industry practices.
The firm’s target market is Privately held companies
$25mil – $250mil revenues
Private client services
Food and beverage.
Leverage his/her existing business network to bring new opportunities to the Firm
Identify prospects that meet the Firm’s target client profile;
Work closely with partners and marketing professionals to develop meaningful proposals or other presentation materials, when necessary;
Collaborate with team leaders to promote the Firm at industry events and trade organizations;
Prepare regular pipeline reports to coordinate team efforts and resources.
7+ years of experience in business development
Working for a CPA firm, law firm or other professional services firm
Selling to the firm’s target market
Demonstrated ability to network, build personal and professional compelling relationships, and drive sales to directly support the Firm’s business.
Experience negotiating terms of engagements sourced as well as facilitating non-disclosure agreements and statements of work.
