Our innovative products are used in the most demanding applications requiring performance, reliability and energy efficiency to enhance the productivity of our customers’ machines and processes.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will be required to provide Test support to manufacturing by ensuring PCB test equipment is running reliably and efficiently.

The successful candidate’s main responsibilities will include:

To support Test Equipment (Software and Hardware) supplied internally or externally sourced.
To be a point of contact for test operators for test related issues.
Perform planned Preventative Maintenance tasks to ensure test machines are working to their optimum level of performance.
Assist Test Engineers with production support, NPI and the commissioning of repeat test equipment.
Liaise with other departments on new and existing products to analyze test yield related issues.
Report any machine availability issues to the Test Support Team Leader.
Be flexible in terms of working hours.

Qualifications, Experience and profile:

City and Guilds Level 2/3 in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or a commitment to studying towards.
Practical experience in fault finding and problem solving using circuit diagrams desirable.
Experience of Landrex AOI and Agilent Test systems an advantage.
Desire and ability to undertake further education and training where required.
Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines within a continuous improvement environment.
Good communication and time keeping skills.
Experience of working in a manufacturing environment.
